New To Me Authors – January 2022

Hello all and welcome to another new monthly feature on my blog. We all have our go to authors who’s books we will automatically read or buy because we love them so much. For me that’s Jodi Picoult, Cecelia Ahearn, Kate Morton, MJ Arlidge, Nick Louth and quite a few more. What I love about the book and blogging community though is the number of new authors I’ve discovered and added to my collectors list since discovering this community.

I decided to dedicate one post a month to share some of the new authors I have read during that month. These may be debut authors or ones that I have only just discovered. Maybe you’ve read them or you may decide to add their book to your reading pile. Regardless I think it’s a great way to share some more book ideas.

Let’s see which new authors I have discovered this month….

Heather Morris

This book had been on my tbr for ages and I finally listened to the audiobook this year. I am kicking myself for leaving it for so long and can’t wait to read the rest of the series

Abbie Greaves

I was delighted to take part in this blog tour and loved Abbie’s writing. I have her other book The Silent Treatment on my bookcase and shall be giving that one a read soon.

Beth Underdown

This was a dark and twisted tale full of surprises. Once again I am going to add the rest of Beth’s collection to my tbr.

Susan Stokes-Chapman

This book was brilliant! An exceptional read that I did not want to end. I am very excited to see what Susan Stokes-Chapman produces next.!

I often find it amazing just how many new authors I find each month. It’ll be great to see what my running total is by the end of the year. All of the books on this list have been wither 4 or 5 star reads for me so if you haven’t read them then I can highly recommend them.

  1. I love this idea Lucy, and think I will do this as well. Much better than trying to come up with a list at the end of the year. Heather Morris is the only one of these authors I have read before. I read three of her books and although sad, they were well written and engrossing.
