My Review:

At the start of the story it is very clear that Charlotte is far from her happy ever after. She hates how she looks and is finding her relationship a continuing struggle. There’s only one thing to do and that involves making some tough choices. I was proud of Charlotte throughout the story. She took control of her life and made some hard but very brave choices.

I will admit I really didn’t like Ross. His romantic gestures were very cliché and made me cringe a lot! I did like the advice he gave to Charlotte and the support he showed with her writing. I just couldn’t see them working as a couple.

The hidden gem in the story was the relationship she had with her brother Matt and his partner Dave. I loved their little side story and how in tune Matt and Charlotte were with each other.

This was a delightful, heart warming read that could easily be read in one sitting. It’s the kind of story that has you rooting for your main character, hoping and praying that they find their happy ever after.
