20 Books of Summer 2022 – Month Two Update!

Hello bookworms!

As you all know my favourite summer challenge is underway and we have over half way through! I thought I would give you all a quick update on how the challenge is going. I am aiming for the full 20 books this time and after completing it last year I decided to throw myself a little challenge. Although all book formats count towards the challenge I have decided not to include my audiobooks in my final number. With audio books I can usually read/listen to 12 books a month so by just counting eBooks and physical books I’m making it a little harder for myself. I did this last year and just managed to finish the challenge so I’m hoping to be more organised this time. Shall we see which books I’ve read for the challenge so far?

In June I managed six out of the twenty which meant I needed to read 7 in July and August. This seemed achievable but with the summer holidays starting towards the end of July anything could happen!

This month I have managed to stay on target and completed 7 books for the challenge. Fingers crossed I can keep this up for the final month and reach the full 20. For August I have a few on my list that I wouldn’t mind reading. These are the seven I have narrowed it down to…..

I am fully aware that this list will most likely change between now and the end of August but these are what I’m in the mood for so far.

Are you doing 20 Books of Summer? How is your challenge going?

      1. I can understand why! There are tons!
I haven’t tried very many yet so I’m still attempting to figure out which suit me.. But sticking to the same ones sounds like it would be less stressful, I’ll have to remember that, thank you.

  1. You are doing well Lucy. I have read 15 at this point, so have 3 weeks to read 5 more. I should be able to do it. I gave myself over 30 possibilities, so had a lot to choose from.
