Hello all and welcome to my new monthly meme that I decided to join this year. I originally saw the post over at Secret Library Book Blog but it was created by Kerry @ Chat About Books. The idea is, on the first Friday of every month, you share your book reviews from previous years. I started my blog in April 2017 so my reviews will be from then until last year.

2017
This is where my love for M.J. Arlidge began. I borrowed this from a friend and he has now become one of my favourite crime authors.
2018
According to Goodreads I didn’t read anything during April of 2018 which is rather shocking to me!
2019
Quite a selection of reads during this month. I think my favourite would have to be Hide and Seek out of those ones.
2020
I really enjoyed some of these reads and I found a few authors who’s books I’ve gone on to collect.
2021
This list shows me ow diverse some of my reading can be. I like mixing up the genres as just reading them same one can get very boring. Circus of Wonders, The Flat Share and malice were all stand out books for me.

Great look back! I wonder if you really didn’t read anything in April 2018? I would be surprised if it were me too.

I remember the time well, we had an 18 month old and I was suffering with morning sickness after discovering I was pregnant. I have a feeling that was why I didn’t read. Does seem odd to not of read anything though 🤔

You probably read, but didn’t review them. I read both of the M.J. Arlidge books and a couple of the others, but more that I didn’t read. Nice list, Lucy.
