WWW Wednesday – 19/01/22

Hello all and welcome to WWW Wednesday!

This weekly meme is hosted by Sam @ Taking on a World of Words. Just answer the three questions below and leave a link to your post in the comments for others to look at. No blog? No problem! Just leave a comment with your responses. Please, take some time to visit the other participants and see what others are reading. So, let’s get to it!

The three Ws are:

What are currently reading?

I have the last two section of The No-Show to read for my book club and I’m very intrigued to see how it all ends. I also have the last 25% of The Storm Sister to finish on audio.

What have you finished reading?

This week I have finished one audio and one ARC. I absolutely loved Pandora and was lost for words when I finished it. Unfortunately I had to DNF Out Front the Following Sea, I just couldn’t get on with the writing style.

Up next are a couple of buddy reads that I’m very excited for. I’m also going to listen to The Foundling too. I am currently on day two of my isolation, after testing positive for COVID Monday afternoon so I am hoping to pile through the reading this week. At the moment I’m not feeling too poorly, just a cold and a headache so fingers crossed I will get lots of reading done during my isolation.

How has your reading gone this week? Happy reading folks!

  1. I’ve had covid since Saturday and my reading is suffering for it. Every time I open a book, I fall asleep. I feel so worn out. Hopefully we both start to feel better real soon Lucy! I’m so sick of blowing my nose!😷💜

      1. Lancaster Castle has good resources it’s where trials were held, I live close to Pendle but my knowledge is ropey 😂
My mum and auntie loved the book, I’ve just not been drawn to it yet not sure why because I do find it interesting 🤷🏻‍♀️
        Glad you aren’t too ill

  2. I’m sorry to hear you got Covid, Lucy. My niece got and said it was like a bad head cold with a sore throat, hopefully that will be it for you. I enjoyed The Foundling and hope you do as well. You have some good books to read during your isolation.
