#FlashbackFriday – January Book Reviews

Hello all and welcome to my new monthly meme that I decided to join this year. I originally saw the post over at Secret Library Book Blog but it was created by Kerry @ Chat About Books. The idea is, on the first Friday of every month, you share your book reviews from previous years. I started my blog in April 2017 so my reviews will be from 2018, 2019, 2020 and 2021.

I wonder if there will be any from your collection?

2018

Wow so in January 2018 I only managed to read one book! I gave this one 4* and went on to buy more books by Fiona Neill.

2019

Now that’s more like it. I managed to read three books back in January 2019. I gave Mistletoe and Mystery 5* and absolutely loved it! My other two reads got 4* so all in all not a bad reading month.

2020

I really enjoyed all of these reads. If I had to choose a favourite it would probably be Tweet Cute, closely followed by One Day In December.

2021

Can you tell that we were in a lockdown? I read so many great books in January last year. My all time favourite would have to The One Hundred Years of Lenni and Margot. If you haven’t read it yet then you must, it’s an absolute gem.

It’s really interesting to see how my reading patterns have changed since starting my blog. I definitely blame the book community for my ever growing TBR but I love what having a blog has done to my reading!

Why not join in with the meme?
