My Review:

I’d like to thank Lynette Creswell for contacting me to review her Children’s book. Being a mother of two small boys I am always on the look out for new books to introduce them to.

Lets start with the illustrations, which are beautiful! My children who are 3 and 5 in a few months loved pointing things out to me in the pictures and the character list at the front was very helpful. As we went through the story my children used the pictures to tell me what they thought was happening in them. The illustrations were bright, colourful, engaging and consistent throughout the story.

The book itself is a delight to read and I can see this being one we revisit a lot over the Christmas season. It had all the warm fuzzy feelings and Christmas spirit you’d expect from a Children’s book. The Hoglets’ are so sweet and their mini adventure is not only exciting to read but a great way to introduce other woodland creatures. I’d love to see more from these cute creatures and go on some more adventures with them!

This is a charming festive read that would be a great addition to any child or school’s collection!
