This year I have decided to do a monthly blog about some of my favourite authors. Each month I will be giving a brief outline about them, my favourite book and why I like them. Favourite Book: The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time
First Book I Read: The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time
Why I Like Them: I loved The Curious Incident, not just because it was set in my hometown but for how unique it was. Story telling from a child’s POV as an adult is hard but to do it from the POV of a child with autism takes a lot of work. I loved the memorable characters that Mark Haddon created and have since gone on to add others of his books to my collection.

I finally read The Curious Incident this year, even though I had it for a long time. It was wonderful. I have not checked out any of his other books, but need to.
