Snow Day – What’s your “comfort” book?
I love to read mystery/thrillers. I feel like a detective trying to work out the case and find I read them pretty quickly. I thoroughly enjoyed Nuala Ellwood’s upcoming release, it was addictive, surprising and intense.
Snow Angels – What’s a book that you love so much you would want to be buried with it (a little morbid, but…)?
This was a tricky one as I’d like to take my entire collection! I adore the Why Mummy series so if I guess that would be my first choice!
Warm Socks – What’s a book that makes you feel warm inside? (The fluffiest, cutest romance you’ve ever read?)
These are my top 3 romance reads of the year. We had some will they won’t they and some fiery romances but I enjoyed them all immensely.
Hot Cocoa – What winter-themed novels have you previously read?
I don’t tend to read a lot of Christmassy books but I decided to give some a go this year. I can see why people read them during this season, I am now in full on Christmas mode and have started building my collection to read Christmas books all of next December!
Sledding – What’s a book with the best plot twists? Who’s an author that always keeps you on your toes?
I discovered Nick Louth a few years ago and love the DCI Craig Gillard series. Nick always surprises me with his twists and plot lines. His latest instalment left me gobsmacked!
Ugly Sweaters – What’s a book with the ugliest cover?
Now I’d like to say I don’t find this cover ugly I just find it a bit plain. It is a beautiful story that highlights mental health and friendship.
Movie Marathon – What’s the last book you binge read?
This was an unusual read, but in a good way. It took me two sittings to read it but purely because I had to work in between!
Letter to Santa – What’s a book that’s on your wishlist this year?
I am hoping to add a few more classics to my list but to be honest any books will be welcomed! I haven’t given a list to anyone as they’ve all told me they know what to get me so it will be a surprise, which I quite like.
Those were some good questions! As it is so close to Christmas I’m going to leave this open for anyone to join in. So if you fancy giving it a go then please consider yourself tagged!!
