Hello fellow booklover!
It’s finally October and that means that Autumn/Fall is well and truly here. I found this tag on Sara @ The Bibliophagist a while ago and thought now is the perfect time to do it. As always if you are reading this then feel free to give it a go!
IN FALL, THE AIR IS CRISP AND CLEAR
NAME A BOOK WITH A VIVID SETTING!
There are two worlds described in this book and I found it really easy to imagine these. They were wonderful and quirky.
NATURE IS BEAUTIFUL…BUT ALSO DYING
NAME A BOOK THAT IS BEAUTIFULLY WRITTEN, BUT ALSO DEALS WITH A HEAVY TOPIC LIKE LOSS OR GRIEF.
I love Jodi Picoult’s writing and this book is no exception. She deals with the controversial topic of abortion and manages to give all sides of the story.
FALL IS BACK TO SCHOOL SEASON
SHARE A NON-FICTION BOOK THAT TAUGHT YOU SOMETHING NEW.
I loved reading about Giovanna’s journey through pregnancy and being a mum. She taught me that most of the time I probably think people are judging me but really they are just going about their normal day.
IN ORDER TO KEEP WARM, IT’S GOOD TO SPEND SOME TIME WITH THE PEOPLE WE LOVE
NAME A FICTIONAL FAMILY/HOUSEHOLD/FRIEND-GROUP THAT YOU’D LIKE TO BE A PART OF.
Come on who wouldn’t want to be part of the Weasley’s? They are wacky, wonderful and a laugh a minute.
THE COLOURFUL LEAVES ARE PILING UP ON THE GROUND
SHOW US A PILE OF FALL-COLOURED SPINES!
FALL IS THE PERFECT TIME FOR SOME STORYTELLING BY THE FIRESIDE
SHARE A BOOK WHEREIN SOMEBODY IS TELLING A STORY.
This was a beautifully told story about Augusta’s life and how she grew up.
THE NIGHTS ARE GETTING DARKER
SHARE A DARK, CREEPY READ.
This one still creeps me out. It was so twisted but in a good way!
THE DAYS ARE GETTING COLDER
NAME A SHORT, HEARTWARMING READ THAT COULD WARM UP SOMEBODY’S COLD AND RAINY DAY.
Who doesn’t love a bit of Matilda? This is a classic that will never get old.
FALL RETURNS EVERY YEAR
NAME AN OLD FAVOURITE THAT YOU’D LIKE TO RETURN TO SOON.
After buying the latest instalment earlier this year I am keen to do a reread of the series before starting on Crossfire.
FALL IS THE PERFECT TIME FOR COZY READING NIGHTS
SHARE YOUR FAVOURITE COZY READING ACCESSORIES!
I tend to do most of my reading either last thing at night or first thing in the morning so I’m very much a pj’s reader! I sometimes read in the bath as well. You can usually find me in my pjs cuddled in my rocking chair/bed/sofa with a cup of English breakfast tea, mermaid blanket, book light going and candles lit. For me it’s all about being cosy. Sometimes I’ll sneak a snack in as well and it’s usually of the sweet variety.
I really enjoyed that book tag, it had some interesting questions. As always if you want to give it a go then please consider yourself tagged!
