September Readathon Update

Hello bookworms!

Last month I took part in two readathons, Dare to Dreamathon and The Coffee Readathon. Luckily I was able to have one reading list for both so I could cross off a prompt for every read. I had a great time participating in both of these challenges and would like to thank the hosts for their support and updates throughout the month.

Haley and Jayati from the Coffee Readathon were always on hand to ask a question and never failed to deliver my updated coffee card. Books & Pixie Dust and my team captain OnceUponADee from Dare to Dreamathon kept me motivated all month and I loved having the team chat to see how everyone else was doing.

So how did I do? I had 10 books in total to read to get my complete coffee card and 5 team prompts to finish before I could move onto the advanced ones…..

I completed all the team reads and added 3 advanced prompts bringing my total to 8. Team Stitch also won the readathon after reading a total of 30,312 pages read! I was only two books away from my full coffee card but I’m still happy with the ones I did complete.

I am really starting to love my readathons, I find it makes me more motivated to read and helps me to choose my next book. Lets hope I can find a few more to participate in before the end of the year.

  1. Iโ€™ve never done a readathon before so if you find any (manageable ๐Ÿ˜‚) ones this year do let me know!

    1. Will do, I find most of mine by searching on WordPress or via Twitter. I’m currently doing the 20 books for Christmas readathon where you choose between 10, 15 or 2o books to read from now until the end of the year โ˜บ๏ธ
