This year I have decided to do a monthly blog about some of my favourite authors. Each month I will be giving a brief outline about them, the books they have written as well as my favourite book and why I like them. I hope you enjoy the authors I have chosen and hopefully my post will inspire some of you to pick up one of their books. Lets get started!
Name: Jodi Picoult
Favourite Book: Nineteen Minutes
First Book I Read: Vanishing Acts
Why I Like Them: Jodi Picoult isn’t afraid to take the taboo subjects, dissect them and explore every point of view. Every single one of her books is original, well researched and manages to capture my attention from the first page. She explores issues of race, gender, religion, culture, family, abortion, child welfare and so much more. For the past 15 years I have been reading and collecting all of her books and to date she is my most collected author. It has become a tradition that my dad will often buy me her latest release as he knows how much I like her.
Have you read any of these books? Which was your favourite?
